Holy Land Gifts will be visiting our parish the weekend of October 26-27 to sell their olive wood gifts to aid the dire Christian situation in the Holy Land. Olive wood carvings are made in home workshops by Catholic families in the city of Bethlehem who rely on their sales to pilgrims and tourists as their main source of income.
The recent war halted tourism to the Holy Land, all souvenir shops and hotels are now closed. This has resulted in a 70% unemployment rate among the carvers. The Catholics of the Holy Land ask for the support of your prayers and the purchase of these handcrafted artworks. Proceeds from sales generate much-needed employment opportunities and monetary funds for 600 Catholic families in Bethlehem.
Cards, cash and Apple Pay will be accepted. Please consider these gifts for your family, friends, and yourself and be as generous as God is to you.
