MYP Final Update

On behalf of Father Luis, Father Austin and Maria Sotomayer, we want to thank all who have helped with a financial donation or their time to volunteer wrapping yarn this year in support of our Lenten Service Mission for The Magic Yarn Project.

Our final MYP Wrapping Party was Sunday and we had a wonderful time with a group of young and old, high school students, grade schoolers, sisters, aunts and cousins, working and wrapping to complete the task at hand and reaching our goal of 1300 skeins wrapped.

We will finalize the packing and with the help of The UPS Store at 8814 Veterans who will cover the shipping costs, will send the 25 large packages to the MYP location in Ohio where they will distribute the yarn to the next volunteer who will complete the final wig for the children. What a team effort this is and for such a beautiful cause.

Thanks for helping to put the smiles on the children who are touched by this project!

With all of your prayers and support, MYP 2025 at Divine Mercy was another great success. Please continue to pray for all the children and their families that are facing this challenge in their lives.
