Welcome students and parents to a new school year at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School!
Over the past 17 months, our world has changed forever. No one could have predicted a worldwide pandemic that would significantly alter our normal way of life. No one could have imagined that social distancing and seclusion would be practiced. This whole experience with COVID-19 has taught us to rely on our faith and to trust in the Lord. It also has taught us to be thankful for the gifts that we have been given. To have things taken away, altered, or canceled is difficult, to say the least; however, it sure makes us more appreciative of the many ways the Lord Jesus continues to bless us as a parish and school family.
As we begin another school year muddled by the COVID-19 pandemic, there still is great excitement in the air as we travel the road ahead. There is so much to learn and experience, and we must thank God for our many blessings of growth and discovery. It is my prayer that God may watch over our students, parents, teachers, and administrators during these challenging times and grant us all the grace of wisdom and understanding, patience and abundant charity throughout this new school year.
With trust in God’s providential care, I will keep you daily in my prayers.
