RCIA: Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults - Interest in Becoming Catholic or Confirmation?

Are you currently interested or desiring to become baptized? Were you baptized in a different Christian faith, but are now desiring to join the Catholic Church? Have you already been baptized as a Catholic, but have not received First Communion and/or Confirmation? Are you interested in asking more questions about the Catholic faith, or wanting to speak with one of us?

Special Note: Due to the New Orleans Saints opening game taking place on Monday, September 9th, we will be meeting instead on Wednesday, September 11th, at 7:00 PM, at Divine Mercy Church.
All RCIA sessions following the first one will still be on Monday evenings in the Parish Community
Center, starting September 16th, from 7:00-8:30 PM.
Spanish RCIA will be meeting still on Thursday evenings, starting on September 12th.
If you are unable to make the first RCIA session, but you are still and desire to join the Catholic Church and/or receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible and join us for the next session!
If Mondays (or Thursdays) do not work, but you are still interested, this is very flexible and we are willing to meet with you on other days and times that are preferable and still offer opportunities for your faith growth. Please contact the Church and again, ask to speak with Jacques Delouche so we can set up a time and get this process started.
